Each RealEase baseplate is securely indexed on the couchtop using CouchStrips to guarantee reproducible positioning for every session. The new RealEase profiles feature user-friendly plungers that enhance the fixation, stability, and release mechanisms for 3- or 5-point masks, ensuring that patients are positioned accurately and securely. Additionally, the anatomically shaped shoulder profiles are designed to provide an even better fit, optimizing patient comfort and positioning precision.

For treatments requiring shoulder retraction, RealEase baseplates are prepared for the optional attachment of hand grips. These hand grips are specifically designed to help position the patient's shoulders out of the treatment area, reducing exposure and enhancing treatment accuracy. Furthermore, an MR safe version of the RealEase baseplate is available, offering compatibility with MR-guided radiation therapy systems.
